Nadezhda Pavlova played the leading role in the world-class spectacle

The Diaghilev Festival 2016 opened on June 17 with the premiere of Verdi's "La Traviata" directed by one of the world’s famous directors Robert Wilson. The spectacle is the co-production of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre and the Opera House of Linz. Teodor Currentzis presented his interpretation of one of the greatest operas in the history.

The young soloist of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theatre, the graduate of the Petrozavodsk State Conservatoire Nadezhda Pavlova played the leading role of Violetta and delivered an outstanding performance that won the acclamation of critics.

Nadezhda Pavlova (soprano) graduated from the Petrozavodsk State Conservatoire in 2006 and completed her postgraduate studies at the conservatoire in 2011 under the guidance of the Honored Artist of the Republic of Karelia Valeriy Dvornikov.

Nadezhda Pavlova is the winner of the International Vocal Competition in Minsk (Grand Prix, 2015), the Contest of Vocalists of the International Sobinov Festival (2012, Saratov), ​​the International Vocal Competition «XXI Century Art" (2003, Kiev), the All-Russian competition of students-vocalists (2000, Ivanovo). The Grand Prix  winner of the of the All-Russian contest of children's creativity "The Firebird" (1997, Ivanovo). The winner of the top theater award of the Republic of Karelia "The Onega Mask". The Winner of the A. Nemtin Prize of the city of Perm in the field of culture and art (2015).
