On November 2, 2015, the graduate of the Petrozavodsk Conservatory Alexander Lubyantsev took part in a charity concert in support of the reconstruction of the church iconostasis in Konchezero.
Alexander Lubyantsev, the former piano student of the honoured art worker of Russia and Karelia, professor Victor Portnoy, graduated from the Petrozavodsk State Glazunov Conservatory in 2014.
Alexander is a laureate of piano competitions in Russia, Poland, Estonia, Australia, and the United States, he took the Third Prize at the XIII International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2007 and earned the title of "an alternative prize-winner" at the XIV International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2011 due to his huge success among music lovers and critics. Considered one of the biggest talents of his generation, Lubyantsev has attracted audiences widely in Russia, as well as in Japan, Brazil, Norway, Estonia, Belarus, Finland and the Czech Republic, and has participated in the Ohrid Summer Festival (Macedonia, 2007), the Dinard International Music Festival (France, 2008), and International Friendship Concert in Seoul (Korea, 2010). He has recently performed with Mariinsky Theatre Symphony Orchestra and Volgograd Symphony Orchestra in Moscow, took part in The Moscow Music Festival "Vladimir Spivakov invites" (2012) and the Saint-Petersburg Music Festival "Stars of the White Nights" by Valery Gergiev (2013), gave concerts in South Africa, Japan (Suntory Hall ) and Italy (Fazioli Concert Hall).
