"Musicology readings-2019"

On May 24, 2019 the scientific student conference "Musicology readings-2019" was held at the Petrozavodsk State Glazunov Conservatoire. Students, graduates and postgraduates of the Music Theory and Composition Department presented reports, in which young musicologists raised a diverse range of issues relating to the problems of compositional techniques, musical genres and forms, as well as musical pedagogy.

The performances of the participants were evaluated by an authoritative jury headed by the Honored Art Worker of the Republic of Karelia, Doctor of Art History, Professor Boris D. Napreev. As the result of an active discussion, the jury selected the best reports:

2 prize-winner – Anastasia Titova;

3 prize-winners – Maria Kapushinskaya and Alina Labutina.
