Petrozavodsk State Glazunov Conservatoire is the first conservatoire in the Russian Federation that received the State Accreditation Certificate for postgraduate education programmes (postgraduate courses and assistantship training courses).
The first assistant-trainees who completed their education in accordance with the Federal State Education Standards graduated from the Conservatoire. Andrey Ivanov (specialty 53.09.03 "Art of Composition", class of the Honored Art Worker of Russia and Karelia, Chairman of the Union of Composers of the Republic of Karelia, professor A.S. Beloborodov) and Vladimir Kulagin (specialty 53.09.05 "The Art of Conducting", class of the Honored Artist of the Republic of Karelia, the winner of the International competition, Ph.D., professor V.I. Stachinsky) are among the graduates. The Symphony Student Orchestra of the Petrozavodsk State Glazunov Conservatoire (conductor - Vladimir Kulagin) performed the Concert-Symphony by Andrey Ivanov.
On June 18, 2016, at 12 p.m. the official ceremony dedicated to the graduation of postgraduate students will take place at the Big Concert Hall of the Conservatoire.
