On March 21, 2017 the literary-musical improvisational project «Reading together» took place at the study hall of the Research library of the Petrozavodsk State Glazunov Conservatoire.
In the cozy atmosphere of the study hall, the heads of the departments, teachers and students recited pieces of Russian and foreign poetry - poetry, which had become the expression of their feelings and emotions.
The evening was filled with poems of famous poets - Alexander Pushkin, William Shakespeare, Marina Tsvetaeva, Valery Bryusov, Anna Akhmatova, Sergei Yesenin, Osip Mandelstam, Joseph Brodsky, Vadim Shefner, Marina Semyonova, Eduard Asadov.
The students of the Conservatoire Natalia Sidorova and Marina Lazareva presented their own pieces of poetry to the public for the very first time. We thank the poets for their courage and beautiful poetry!
World Poetry Day has become truly global. At the event, students from China and Costa Rica recited poems in Russian, Chinese and Spanish.
Students of the Petrozavodsk State Conservatoire combine musical, poetic and artistic talents. The exhibition, organized by the Research Library in collaboration with the student Yekaterina Vasilyeva-Bardakova, presented students’ drawings and photographs of the guests of the event.
During the evening beautiful piano music was played by Alexei Igorevich Tokunov - the teacher and deputy director of the Сollege at the Petrozavodsk State Glazunov Conservatory.
