Representatives of the University of Tromsø visited the conservatoire

From June 16 through June 18, 2019, representatives of the University of Tromsø – the Arctic University of Norway Professor Sergey Osadchuk and Professor Lars Lien visited the Petrozavodsk Conservatoire. During the visit, Lars Lien (saxophone) conducted master classes for students of the Petrozavodsk Conservatoire - saxophone majors. Sergey Osadchuk (piano) performed as an accompanist. The visit was organized by the teachers of the Conservatoire and the creative partners of the Norwegian colleagues Alexey Talitsky and Praskovya Tanikova.

During the official meeting with the rector of the Petrozavodsk Conservatoire Aleksei Kubyshkin, the continuation of the cooperation between the two universities was agreed upon. Over the past few years, with the support of the ERASMUS + program, 7 students of the Petrozavodsk Conservatoire, majoring in  piano, saxophone, cello, violin and flute, completed the course of study in Norway. In the near future, the focus of the cooperation will remain on the development of the creative projects with the participation of students and teachers of partner universities, as well as the bilateral academic mobility of students.
