7th International “Silver Sounds” Contest of Ensembles for Wind, Brass & Percussion, 2015
The Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation, Petrozavodsk State Glazunov Conservatory, the Ministry of culture of the Republic of Karelia, Petrozavodsk Music College named after K.E. Rautio, The Department of Culture of the Petrozavodsk City Administration, Children’s music school # 1 named after G. Sinisalo, The Department of education of the Petrozavodsk City Administration, the Creative Arts Palace for Children and Young People of Petrozavodsk hold the 7th “Silver Sounds” International Contest of Ensembles for Wind, Brass & Percussion.
The Contest will be held during March 28th - March 31st, 2015.
Goals and objectives of the Contest:
- development and promotion of wind and pop music;
- promotion of ensemble music-making;
- detection of talented wind and pop music performers;
- development of music and aesthetic taste of young people.
